When the Door Is Knocking, but You Are Still Being Prepared
Sometimes what feels like being stuck is actually the sacred space where you are being cleansed, covered, and prepared for what comes next.
In the dream, I was being cleansed and covered with honey by a small creature while two witnesses stood nearby, watching the process. I could hear knocking at the door, but I was not able to answer it. I had to remain where I was until the cleansing was complete.
Give Yourself Grace
You may not be forgotten. You may be covered.
You may not be rejected. You may be refined.
You may not be behind. You may still be in the hands of the One preparing you.
There are moments when we can hear the knocking, feel the shift, and sense that something greater is near. Yet we are still being asked to remain still while the preparation is completed.
Do not rush what is being made ready within you.
Let patience finish her work.
“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
James 1:4, KJV
Faith the size of a mustard seed can carry you through, but I encourage you to nurture even more than that.
Let your faith become greater than your fear.
You do not have to understand every part of the process to trust that the Lord is still working.
The door will still be there when you are ready.
The people assigned to receive what you carry will still be there.
The opportunity meant for you will not require you to arrive unfinished.

What if the place you have been calling “stuck” is actually the place where you are being cleansed, covered, and prepared?
Give yourself permission to be covered in honey.
Give yourself permission to be shaped.
Give yourself permission not to know.
And give yourself permission to trust the process.
